How to Mirror Videos (Several Ways)

Desktop


No Editing, Download, or Browser Extension

This works in any web browser without using an extension or download!

Pros: Mirrors a video in any browser without downloading an extension or video Cons: Mirrors the entire video player, so the play button is on the right side, and a little bit confusing


  1. Open the video in YouTube that you want to mirror.

  2. Go to your web browser's search bar. Replace "youtube.com" with "mirrorthevideo.com" in the URL. Keep everything else the same. Hit enter. https://www.mirrorthevideo.com/

  3. The entire video player will become mirrored. The play button will now be on the right side, but the video will still function the same way as on YouTube.It may take some time to get used to.


Screen Record & Edit

  1. Playback the video you want to mirror at the highest possible resolution

  2. Screen record the video using a screen recording app

  3. Import the video to a video editing program like iMovie or Windows Movie Maker

  4. Flip horizontally

  5. Export the video
