How to Download HD Videos from Nico Nico Douga

Step 1:

Go to the video you want to download in Nico Nico Douga.

Right click on the video player and make sure it's http (it should show http > hls)

If it's the opposite way click on the hls > https to change it to http

Step 2:

Right click the page (not the video player) and go to "inspect"

Step 3:

Go to the "Network" tab and click media. You might see options but you'll probably need to refresh the page to get them to show (don't close inspect). You want the largest one. Also make sure the video is currently playing in the resolution you want (1080p, 720p, etc.)

Step 4:

Right click the biggest file and say open in new tab.

From that tab right click again and click save video as.

Then you can save it wherever you want it and that's it!
